Posters for theater plays – Affiches pour théâtre
I’ve been doing posters for a wile now but only for one amateur company, of the High School where I was in France. I’ve also done sets for those plays, every year from 1997 to 2008. I’ll try to post some pictures of those sets later (as soon as I can gather enough good pictures out of my parents albums).
Each time I would do a poster in color, corresponding to the sets palette, and then one in black and white for massive reproduction and for the school’s magazine.

Cela fait un moment que je fais des affiches, mais seulement pour la compagnie amateur du lycée où j’ai été en région parisienne. J’ai aussi fait des décors pour ces pièces de théâtre, tous les ans de 1997 à 2008. J’essayerai de publier quelques photos de ces décors (aussitôt que je trouverai assez de bonnes photos parmi les albums de mes parents).
À chaque fois je fais une affiche en couleur, corresponant à la palette utilisée dans les décors, puis en noir et planc pur une reproduction massive et pour le magazine de l’école.
Dream – storyboard
Here is another assignment for my Motion Design class. Two weeks before, the teacher asked us to keep track of our dreams. We then had to design that dream with at least three different characters created with different techniques.
I got inspired by a dream I made after Mother’s Day. For that occasion, my sister (one of the characters I designed) made a little party at her house in France and I wasn’t there. I probably thought about that in my dream because I saw my sister preparing the party and putting on the table a lot of different bowls and plates, all with different patterns! That precise image (close from my frame #7) was the starting point of the following storyboard.

Voici un autre devoir à la maison pour le cours Motion Design (graphisme en mouvement). Deux semaines auparavant l’enseignant nous a demandé de noter nos rêves. Ensuite nous avons du mettre ce rêve en images avec au moins trois différents personnages, créés avec différentes techniques.
Je me suis inspirée d’un rêve fait après la fête des mères. À cette occasion ma soeur (l’un de mes trois personnages) a organisé une petite fête chez elle, en France, mais je n’y étais pas. J’ai probablement pensé à cela dans mon rêve car j’ai vu ma soeur préparer la fête en mettant sur la table plein de bols et assiettes différents, tous avec des motifs différents! Cette image en particulier (ressemblant à ma 7ème vignette) a été le point de départ du storyboard ci-dessous.
“Love me Dead” – storyboard
Assignment for my class of Motion Design at Art Center College of Design (Pasadena): make 8 storyboard frames, key moments from a possible video clip of a music, out of the style frame we previously did (see post about “Love me Dead” in the section “Style frames”).

Exercice imposé par mon professeur au Art Center College of Design (Pasadena): réaliser 8 vignettes, des images clés d’un possible vidéo-clip, d’après le dessin conceptuel précédemment effectué (voir l’article “Love me Dead” dans la rubrique “Illustrations de prod”).

Logo – Obama “HOPE”
I made this logo just for fun on November 4th 2008, big historical day for United States of America. It was a little after my first class on the software Illustrator. I took a picture of the big puppy that usually stays with me wile I’m working at my computer. Than I went on Photoshop, draw the contours corresponding to the main contrasts and imported those lines to Illustrator. I then traced the vectors, and finally went back to Photoshop to adjust the details. The style is inpired by the Obama Campain Logo, which originally had the words “HOPE” and “PROGRESS”, but I decided to avoid the typo.

J’ai fait ce logo juste pour rire le 4 novembre 2008, grande journée historique pour les Etats-Unis. C’était peu après mon premier cours sur le logiciel Illustrator. J’ai pris une photo du grand chiot qui en général reste avec moi pendant que je travaille à mon ordinateur. Ensuite j’ai été sur Photoshop, j’ai dessiné les contours correspondant aux principales zones de contraste et je les ai importés dans Illustrator. J’ai ensuite tracé les vecteurs, puis finalement je suis retournée dans Photoshop pour ajuster les détails. Le style est inspiré par le logo de la campagne d’Obama, qui à l’origine avait les mots “HOPE” et “PROGRESS”, mais j’ai décidé d’éviter les typo.
Logo – Production company
That’s a logo that I’ve made for a friend who was starting his production company (Michaël Nakache) but later he found a real graphic designer who made him a way nicer logo so he never used mine.

Celui-ci est un logo que j’avais fait pour un ami qui lançait sa boîte de prod (Michaël Nakache) mais ensuite il a trouvé un vrai graphiste qui lui a fait un logo bien meilleur alors il n’a jamais utilisé le mien.
Logos – associations
Here are some logotypes I made for some associations. The first one was for a group of French and Spanish students in law school, the Second for Film Doctoral students.
