Statue of Liberty
I’ve done that painting for a theatre set at the beginning of 2008. The play was about the novel America America by Elia Kazan. It’s made with spray paint and acrylic, over a wood board, about 23″ by 40″ .

J’ai fait cette peinture pour un décor de théâtre au début de l’année 2008. La pièce mettait en scène le roman America America d’Elia Kazan. Je l’ai fait à la peinture à la bombe et à l’acrylique sur une planche de bois d’environ un mètre de haut sur 60 cm de large.

Dream – storyboard
Here is another assignment for my Motion Design class. Two weeks before, the teacher asked us to keep track of our dreams. We then had to design that dream with at least three different characters created with different techniques.
I got inspired by a dream I made after Mother’s Day. For that occasion, my sister (one of the characters I designed) made a little party at her house in France and I wasn’t there. I probably thought about that in my dream because I saw my sister preparing the party and putting on the table a lot of different bowls and plates, all with different patterns! That precise image (close from my frame #7) was the starting point of the following storyboard.

Voici un autre devoir à la maison pour le cours Motion Design (graphisme en mouvement). Deux semaines auparavant l’enseignant nous a demandé de noter nos rêves. Ensuite nous avons du mettre ce rêve en images avec au moins trois différents personnages, créés avec différentes techniques.
Je me suis inspirée d’un rêve fait après la fête des mères. À cette occasion ma soeur (l’un de mes trois personnages) a organisé une petite fête chez elle, en France, mais je n’y étais pas. J’ai probablement pensé à cela dans mon rêve car j’ai vu ma soeur préparer la fête en mettant sur la table plein de bols et assiettes différents, tous avec des motifs différents! Cette image en particulier (ressemblant à ma 7ème vignette) a été le point de départ du storyboard ci-dessous.

Matrix project
I made those drawings for my class of Introduction to Entertainment Design at Art Center College of Design. It’s my first experience in concept design for characters, environments and transportation. I usually draw from reality or from references that the directors give me. I don’t use to create my own elements.
The subject was to create a whole universe based on the movie Matrix, a little bit like the Animatrix. Here is my concept:
“WHAT IF WHAT WE SEE AS ALIENS
WERE ACTUALLY ZION HABITANTS
COMING INTO THE MATRIX TO HAVE FUN?”

J’ai fait ces dessins pour mon cours Introduction to Entertainment Design (Introduction au Design pour Spectacle, en fait c’est du dessin conceptuel appliqué au cinéma, jeu vidéo, aimation, etc.). C’était ma première expérience en dessin conceptuel pour personnages, environnements et transports. Habituellement je dessine d’après la réalité ou des références que le réalisateur me fournit. Je n’ai pas l’habitude de créer mes propres éléments.
Le sujet était de créer un univers basé sur le film Matrix, un peu comme les Animatrix. Voici mon concept:
“Et si ce que l’on prend pour des Aliens
étaient en fait des habitants de Zion
venant dans la Matrice pour s’amuser?”
Logo – Obama “HOPE”
I made this logo just for fun on November 4th 2008, big historical day for United States of America. It was a little after my first class on the software Illustrator. I took a picture of the big puppy that usually stays with me wile I’m working at my computer. Than I went on Photoshop, draw the contours corresponding to the main contrasts and imported those lines to Illustrator. I then traced the vectors, and finally went back to Photoshop to adjust the details. The style is inpired by the Obama Campain Logo, which originally had the words “HOPE” and “PROGRESS”, but I decided to avoid the typo.

J’ai fait ce logo juste pour rire le 4 novembre 2008, grande journée historique pour les Etats-Unis. C’était peu après mon premier cours sur le logiciel Illustrator. J’ai pris une photo du grand chiot qui en général reste avec moi pendant que je travaille à mon ordinateur. Ensuite j’ai été sur Photoshop, j’ai dessiné les contours correspondant aux principales zones de contraste et je les ai importés dans Illustrator. J’ai ensuite tracé les vecteurs, puis finalement je suis retournée dans Photoshop pour ajuster les détails. Le style est inspiré par le logo de la campagne d’Obama, qui à l’origine avait les mots “HOPE” et “PROGRESS”, mais j’ai décidé d’éviter les typo.
Logo – Production company
That’s a logo that I’ve made for a friend who was starting his production company (Michaël Nakache) but later he found a real graphic designer who made him a way nicer logo so he never used mine.

Celui-ci est un logo que j’avais fait pour un ami qui lançait sa boîte de prod (Michaël Nakache) mais ensuite il a trouvé un vrai graphiste qui lui a fait un logo bien meilleur alors il n’a jamais utilisé le mien.
